player. 15.
When the New Orleans Saints traded Jimmy Graham away, the reason for the trade was said to be for the team to improve their defense. By adding the Seattle Seahawks’ first-round pick at the end of the first round, the Saints will get that extra pick to bring in quality defensive player. What that extra first-round pick also does is that it gives the Saints the ability to take a risk on a player in the first round, which is why I have them selecting Arik Armstead, who really is a guy that can be dominant in the NFL.

He flashed dominancy at times at Oregon, however, he never really grew out of the raw stage in college. That means an NFL team will have to straighten out his kinks. With his size at 6-foot-7, 290 pounds, and his intriguing speed for a defensive linemen, Armstead will fit perfectly with the Saints as a five-technique defensive end.

Rob Ryan needs to improve the defense in 2015 and he’s the type of coach that can light a fire under Armstead to get the most out of him. He’s only going to put on more muscle and with his hand usage as well as his nonstop motor, Armstead really can become a freakish talent in the NFL.
. Defensive Tackle/End. Oregon. Arik Armstead. 13
