30.
This past season, no team improved more than the New York Jets. In 2014, their secondary was arguably the best. Fast forward eight months and their secondary is now arguably the best in the league. By signing Darrelle Revis and Antonio Cromartie, the Jets brought the band back from 2012. However, they did more than just those two cornerbacks. Buster Skrine was signed as well and he’ll fit perfectly at the slot cornerback position. The Jets also signed Marcus Gilchrist, who shows the ability to play both the safety and the cornerback position.

The Jets could go a variety of directions with their first-round pick. Quarterback, receiver, and a pass rusher are all areas that must be addressed. Kevin White could be the guy here, but the Jets would be wise to wait to draft a wide receiver in this draft, as the class has a ton of starting-level players that can be drafted in the middle rounds.

With all of that being said, I have the Jets selecting Dante Fowler Jr. out of Florida. Todd Bowles is an excellent defensive coach. He absolutely loves rushing the quarterback and Fowler Jr. excels at that. He’s a bit undersized, but he has an excellent motor, great hand usage, and a variety of moves that he uses to shed offensive linemen.
. Outside Linebacker. Florida. Dante Fowler Jr.. 6. player
