The NFC North looks to be one of the most hotly contested divisions in 2015. It boasts four teams that believe they can make the playoffs and two teams that are contenders, in my opinion. In such a balanced division there is bound to be a plethora of talented players, and trust me, there are. Although there are also a few players that make minimal contributions a year ago that are poised to breakout as true playmakers in 2015.

All four NFC North teams have been included on this countdown, thus one team has two players represented. It’s going to be a highly entertaining year in this division as the Green Bay Packers believe they have what it takes to win it all, as do the Detroit Lions.

However, there is a lot of excitement in Minnesota as the Vikings boast a young and talented roster. The same can be said for the Bears, as far as excitement goes, as the city of Chicago is eagerly awaiting the John Fox era to officially begin.

If all five of these players do indeed breakout in 2015 then an already talented division will only become even more respected. The NFC North may be the most talented division in the NFL at the skill positions as it boasts Aaron Rodgers, Calvin Johnson, Alshon Jeffery, Matt Forte, Eddie Lacy, Matthew Stafford, Jordy Nelson, Golden Tate, and many more dominant athletes. Of course, we don’t know where Adrian Peterson will be yet, although it appears as though it won’t be in the NFC North, unfortunately.
