NFC North: 5 offensive players poised to breakout in 2015

5. Jarius Wright, WR, Minnesota Vikings
Jarius Wright is a player that has been brought along slowly in Minnesota, but 2015 is finally going to be his year. Veteran receiver Greg Jennings is gone and Wright will have his chance to prove himself in his absence. Of course, the Vikings did bring in Pro Bowler Mike Wallace to catch balls, too. Even as a backup in the last three seasons he has caught seven touchdowns and hauled in 1,332 receiving yards.
In 2014, he was given the most opportunities of his career to start, seven games, and he made the most of it. He posted two 100-yard receiving games and caught two touchdowns in the final month of the season. At 5’10” and 182 pounds he relies on his speed and route running ability to contribute and over the offseason he can cement himself as an important piece of this offense.
He definitely has a chance to compete for a starting position in 2015 and it should be noted that he’s still only 25 years old. Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater will have no shortage of weapons on the outside this fall and Wright might be one of the most dangerous of them all. That said, some do not even consider Wright a top playmaker for this team, but I definitely do.
