4. Ka’Deem Carey, RB, Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears’ backup running back Ka’Deem Carey certainly won’t get enough carries in 2015 to make a monumental splash, but he’ll do enough to get the attention of the rest of the division. The second-year running back will come in for starting running back Matt Forte much more this season as Forte nears 30 years old. Carey is in his second year with the Bears and should be much more comfortable with his roll in 2015.

He was a dominant force in college and scored 52 touchdowns in three seasons with the Arizona Wildcats. In 2012, he led the entire nation in rushing yards with 1,929 yards. Carey didn’t get many carries a year ago (36), but he did average a respectable 4.4 yards per rush. He did not show off a ton of explosiveness in his few carries, but believe me, the talent is still there. The 22-year old is still adjusting to the pro game and this fall he’ll get more opportunities; look for him to make the most of them.

Carey is, in my opinion, being groomed to eventually carry the load for the Bears and in 2015 you can expect him to get more balls thrown his way in third down situations specifically. Last year he caught five of six passes thrown his way and I’m predicting that he scores a few touchdowns through the air this year. Even as a backup he’ll make an immense impact in Chicago in 2015.
