5. Detroit Lions at New Orleans Saints – Week 15, MNF

Monday night games can’t be flexed, so this game is guaranteed to be played in primetime. This was an intriguing matchup last season – Detroit took the game 24-23 in a fourth-quarter comeback. Drew Brees against the Lions’ stellar defense should be the matchup to watch. In last year’s contest, Brees burned the unit in the first half but several costly interceptions that led to a Detroit victory.

This year, the Saints will have home-field advantage, but the team struggled at home in 2014. Detroit, in theory, should be an improved team since last year, while New Orleans has lost key pieces like Jimmy Graham. Out of all the Monday Night Football games, this one looks to be the best on paper.

Of course, some random game will probably end up being a 30-27 overtime contest, but I’d rather watch Saints-Lions than Browns-Ravens (Week 12’s MNF slate).

I’ll take the Lions to get a road win. New Orleans hasn’t been a good home team recently and the Saints’ offense will struggle against the Lions’ defense, especially without Jimmy Graham.
