Oakland Raiders: Win-Loss Predictions For Every Game In 2015

Week 16 – San Diego Chargers

In the only primetime game of the season for the Raiders they take on the San Diego Chargers at home on Christmas Eve. The last time the Raiders played a primetime game against the Chargers, they came away with a decisive victory fueled by Philip Rivers’s three interceptions. Terrelle Pryor looked like a serviceable quarterback against the San Diego defense by some miracle.

Last season when the Chargers came to Oakland, the Raiders had an excellent chance at tying or winning the game late on were it not for a poor decision by Derek Carr. Down three with two minutes to go, instead of playing for a field goal or playing it safe as the Raiders marched down the field, he took a shot down the sideline and paid for it with a game ending interception.

The Chargers are the better team on paper but as we all know anything can happen in these divisional matchups. This game will also of course be swung one way or another depending on who is actually under center for San Diego.
