Week 5 – Denver Broncos
Waiting for the Raiders after their two-week road trip is a date with the Denver Broncos. The Broncos are the class of the division and have won it three years running. They have simply dominated the Raiders ever since Peyton Manning made the move west and this year should be no different.
Even the most optimistic Raider fan will tell you that they have much improvement to do before they can come close to matching the Broncos. If the Raiders can pull off a miracle then this will be one of the upsets of the season and will have to be in a “any given Sunday” type scenario.
Peyton Manning has is undefeated against the Raiders since coming to Denver and has won each game by double digits. The Denver offense is still a juggernaut even after losing Julius Thomas and their defense is still one of the better ones in the league. The Raiders have not beaten the Broncos since 2011 and that does not look like it will change this season. After this loss the Raiders will go in to their bye week to regroup with a respectable 2-3 record.
Prediction: Loss
Record: 2-3
