Trae Waynes. 13. player. 15.
Don’t love the value for Randy Gregory or Shane Ray here, and the Saints still could use some help at corner. They signed Brandon Browner to help out in the short term and still have the development of Stanley Jean-Baptiste to look forward to, but I think Waynes is too good to pass up in this spot.

Trae Waynes is a big, physical cornerback who showed off his speed in the 40 yard dash (4.31 seconds) and plenty of analysts have Waynes off the board at number 11 to the Vikings. Waynes has turned heads with more than just his 40 time and is a high character player in a position group that has been clouded with off field transgressions.

If Alvin Dupree (OLB) or DeVante Parker (WR) fall this far they might be too tempting to pass up. The Saints could also be in the market for an offensive lineman, but without Collins or Scherff on the board I’m not sure this is the spot to address that need.
. CB. Michigan State
