2012 Draft Class

1st – None
2nd – Derek Wolfe, Brock Osweiler
3rd – Ronnie Hillman
4th – Omar Bolden, Philip Blake
5th –  Malik Jackson
6th – Danny Trevathan

The Broncos chose to trade down from the 25th pick and out of first round but we’re still able to find some impact players in this class. Defensive tackle Derek Wolfe has been an excellent rotation player but has not been steady enough to earn a regular starting spot until this upcoming season. He battled injuries in his rookie season but has come back strong since.

They also selected a potential replacement for Peyton Manning in Brock Osweiler although he has much to prove to earn that title. He has been limited to preseason and mop up duty but has yet to show any real potential quite yet.

Ronnie Hillman, Omar Bolden, Malik Jackson, and Danny Trevathan are the standout pics all of this class. Hillman has been an on and off starter for the Broncos although his fumbling issues and injuries have pushed him in and out of the lineup..

After a quiet rookie season, Danny Trevathan became a starter in 2013 and contributed 105 tackles and three interceptions. He has struggled with injury since but is poised to return in 2015 with a vengeance. Mailk Jackson is another rotational defensive lineman but he has put up some good numbers in a limited role with nine sacks in the past two seasons.
