Round 2: No. 49 Overall
When the Chiefs’ second-round selection of Mitch Morse was first announced, I was a bit underwhelmed. Morse was considered by most to be a third or fourth round selection. The more I let it sink in, picking Morse is starting to grow on me.

Morse is a very versatile player, playing all across the offensive line in college. He was announced as a center when the pick was presented at the podium, and that could be a precursor to what we will see out of him.

He is a physical player in the run game, who has good quickness and balance. Morse is a very good pass protector, showing the ability to mirror the pass rushers extremely well. His play at left tackle this past season was very inspiring. While he may be better suited inside at the next level, Morse at least showed the upside to be a left tackle if needed. Not many prospects can say that in this draft class.

With <a href=. OL. Missouri. MITCH MORSE. B-
