As this will be his fourth season in the NFL, the 5-8, 180-pound wide receiver is know by Cowboys fans for making the catch out of nowhere, but he was a big part of the success of the Cowboys last season.

In 16 games, he caught 37 receptions for 420 yards and four touchdowns, with his best game stats-wise being his 66-yard game against the New York Giants in Week 12, a game that also included just two receptions, one being for 45 yards. He also had a touchdown in that game.

Beasley’s best game in terms of receptions came in the final week of the regular season, where he totaled six receptions for 57 yards.

That’s what fans of the Cowboys and fans of football should appreciate in Beasley is the fact he does a lot of the “dirty work” when it comes to the Cowboys’ offense. He’s not the first option or the second. He might be the third, but there is also Jason Witten in that mix as well. What Beasley does for the offense is comes up with the big reception when it is needed.

Even in the playoffs this past NFL season, Beasley totaled seven receptions for 101 yards, including 63 yards on four receptions against the Detroit Lions in the Wild Card round.

This could be the best year yet for Beasley. Each season his numbers have improved, and it doesn’t seem he’s hit a wall just yet in his NFL career.
