We are roughly seven weeks away from the start of the NFL preseason. Business in the National Football League continues on a daily basis.

We hope you are enjoying our 5 Key Stats series, where we feature the facts and figures that make the game even more interesting. As we know, you can twist the numbers to make them do anything you want and here we have created our own version of fun with numbers?

We are now in the midst of the second half of our 32-part series with the 22nd club on the list (alphabetically) in the form of the New York Jets. It’s a franchise that hasn’t won a Super Bowl in close to 50 years (III) but did flirt with getting to the Big Game not too long ago.

This upcoming season, the team has made a few key changes, the biggest being new general manager Mike Maccagnan and new head coach Todd Bowles. Can this club get back to the postseason under a different regime? Let’s take a look at some facts and figures.
