St.Louis Rams @ Philadelphia Eagles:

This matchup would really hit the headlines as these two teams just traded quarterbacks before the season, so it would be very exciting. In the 2014 season, these two teams had a high scoring battle. I don’t think it will be the same way this time. The Eagles will be able to put up some points, but the Rams are good enough to stop them.

I think this will be an extremely tight game, but the Rams will have more success in the running game giving them a big advantage. Either way one team might be second guessing their decision to trade their starting quarterback if one clearly outplays the other. I think the Rams will win due to their superior defense in the cold Philly weather.

Winner: St. Louis Rams

Minnesota Vikings @ Carolina Panthers:

The Vikings have the advantage of getting to play the weakest team in the playoffs, but the Panthers have fight left in them and could give them a tough game. I think the Panthers will really struggle to put up many points. Stewart might be able to establish  a decent running game, but the passing game will have a tough time against a superior secondary. Peterson will have a good game and establish a good running game and Bridgewater will play well and take apart the weak secondary. The Vikings are the better team and will win this game and move on to go to Seattle.

Winner: Minnesota Vikings
