Stud: First Team Offensive Line

The Jaguars offensive line was heavily scrutinized last year and for good reason. The team surrendered 71 sacks and Bortles would not survive this season if they happen to replicate that. However, the revamped offensive line played well tonight after an ok performance last week against the Steelers. The line did not surrender a sack and gave Bortles plenty of time to throw.

The men up front also controlled the line of scrimmage and paved the way for running backs Denard Robinson and Toby Gerhart. It’s clear Doug Marrone has put in some work this offseason with that group.
