Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona Cardinals

Few players in NFL history have achieved the popularity of Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald. Not only is he an all-time great player at his position, but he’s truly one of the good guys.

You’d have a very hard time finding a player who doesn’t get along with Fitzgerald.

Fitzgerald nearly won a ring during his unforgettable performance in Super Bowl XLIII. His 64-yard touchdown reception with 2:37 remaining in the fourth quarter is an iconic play that will not soon be forgotten.

Unfortunately, Arizona’s defense couldn’t stop Santonio Holmes from countering with a game-winning touchdown with 35 seconds on the clock.

Arizona is consistently slept on, but it has the tools to give Fitzgerald an elusive championship. It won 10 games in 2013 and 11 in 2014, and is 16-6 when Carson Palmer is the starting quarterback.

Here’s hoping that Fitzgerald, now 31, gets to hoist the Vince Lombardi Trophy over his head before he retires.
