Many fantasy football owners are tired of gambling on mercurial San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick. It’s hard to blame them; the promise and potential hasn’t been met with consistent fantasy value.
In 2015, there’s genuinely great reason to take a chance on Kaepernick.
Kaepernick is going undrafted in many leagues, boasting an owned percentage of just 60.8. That makes him available in 39.2 percent of ESPN leagues, and shows just how cautious owners are being.
Don’t make that same mistake.
With the amount of retirements and off-the-field issues San Francisco has endured, its defense is destined to take a significant hit. That will place a significant burden on the offense, which Kaepernick is responsible for leading.
With big-play weapon Torrey Smith joining the show, Kaepernick is on pace to have the best statistical season of his career.
