Jacksonville Jaguars OLB Telvin Smith

After starring down the stretch of the regular season, Telvin Smith looks like one of the biggest steals in the 2014 draft class on the defensive side of the ball. Based on how well he’s covered running backs and come up to make plays in the running game, it’s hard to believe that he fell to the fifth round due to size concerns.

Smith’s physicality, range, and tackling ability have more than made up for his lack of size, and he had a whopping 31 tackles in the final two games of the regular season. 104 tackles, two sacks, and four passes defended are strong numbers for any outside linebacker, but they are especially promising for a rookie.

With all due respect to the under-appreciated Ryan Davis, Smith is the Jaguars biggest X-Factor in 2015.
