Tennessee Titans LT Taylor Lewan

Easily the best rookie offensive tackle in the 2014 class thus far, Taylor Lewan could prove to be a real building block for the Tennessee Titans in 2015 after character concerns threatened to drag down his draft stock. Lewan’s off-field issues must be kept in mind going forward, but so should his play on the field, which has been dominant at times.

Possessing quick feet and a mean streak in the running game, Lewan had a few expected struggles in his first year outside of the confines of Ann Arbor, but he should be commended for finishing with a better Pass Blocking Efficiency score than seasoned veterans D’Brickashaw Ferguson, Zach Strief, and Doug Free last year, per PFF.

If he can take another step forward in 2015, Marcus Mariota will at least know that his blindside will be safe.
