Tom Brady, New England Patriots

Tom Brady wasn’t expected to play for the New England Patriots during Week 1. Deflategate projected to land him on the suspension list, but that never came to fruition.

The Pittsburgh Steelers likely wish he hadn’t been eligible to play.

Brady was absolutely masterful, annihilating the Steelers’ defense with precision and a cannon of an arm. It was an almost flawless game that saw Brady join rare company.

Brady went 25-of-32 for 288 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions.

The Big Three continues to dominate.

Assuming his weapons remain healthy, Brady should torment opposing defenses in 2015. Julian Edelman is a menace on short-to-intermediate routes, Rob Gronkowski is almost impossible to cover and New England’s running backs are dangerous out of the backfield.

Brady may not be flawless in every game, but this is unlikely to be the last time he throws four touchdowns in a game in 2015.
