Tight Ends to Trade For

Greg Olsen – Carolina Panthers

Olsen should be one of fantasy’s best tight ends this year, but was unable to perform amid a horrendous Carolina offense on Sunday. If you’re looking for a tight end, consider targeting Olsen through a trade, especially if his owner has another tight end that performed well this week.

Owen Daniels – Denver Broncos

Don’t spend much on Daniels, but if you can get him very cheap he may be worth a roster spot. The entire Denver offense was terrible on Sunday, and Danels was not exempt. He should have a decent season catching passes from Peyton Manning, despite the goose egg he put up this week.

Tight Ends to Trade Away

Tyler Eifert – Cincinnati Bengals

Tyler Eifert will be a good target for Andy Dalton this season, but I expect him to look to A.J. Green more and his big tight end less as the season progresses. His two touchdowns are unsustainable, and he won’t be a top fantasy player for most of the year.

Ladarius Green – San Diego Chargers

Ladarius Green is a talented player, but he may not see many targets once Antonio Gates returns from his four game suspension. Consider holding on to him another week or two, but definitely try to get rid of him before Gates returns.
