Palmer is a genuine MVP candidate.
Palmer continued his productive beginning to the season against the Chicago Bears. He threw for four touchdowns to one interception in a dominant 48-23 road win.
In many ways, the 35-year-old Palmer is looking like a younger version of himself.
Throwing an interception never helps, but it hardly derails Palmer’s MVP campaign. In fact, he rises by two spots from a week ago.
If Arizona does what it’s done over the past two seasons—win 10-plus games—and Palmer remains healthy, he could win MVP.

Last week: 17/24, 185 YDS, 4 TD, 1 INT, W
Last rank: No. 5
Since 2013, the Arizona Cardinals are 18-6 with Carson Palmer under center. They’re 5-6 during the 11 games he’s missed. That’s irrelevant to 2015 as an individual season, but it’s also a sign that what he’s done thus far is not fluke-ish.
