10. Eric Ebron (Detroit) vs. Denver
Ebron makes his way up into the Top-10 for the first time after scoring in the double digits each of the last two weeks. He appears to be somewhat touchdown dependent, but that doesn’t mean he’s a bad play.
As Ebron finally works his way into the Lions offense and Matthew Stafford starts to trust him even more, he should see even more targets. Don’t feel bad about throwing Ebron into your starting lineup this week, as he’s show himself to be pretty consistent.
9. Martellus Bennett (Chicago) vs. Seattle
If there’s one good thing about having a backup quarterback play, its that they tend to look for their tight ends and running backs in the passing game when they get into trouble. That will likely hold up in Week 3 when Jimmy Clausen leads the Bears on the road to face the Seahawks in place of the injured Jay Cutler.
I don’t expect Clausen to be particularly successful though, and the Seattle defense will be out for blood after starting 0-2. Bennett should see a lot of looks, but it may be tough to fin much room to run, and I don’t love his chances of finding the end zone. If you’ve got him you’re probably starting him, but limit your expectations this week.
