6. Jordan Reed (Washington) vs. New York Giants

Washington quarterback Kirk Cousins sees Jordan Reed as a safety valve, and Reed will continue to see a large volume of targets as he has for the last few weeks. He’s had plenty of injury issues in his career, but he’s a must start anytime he’s healthy.

The Giants gave up 77 yards to Jacob Tamme last week and 2 touchdowns to Jason Witten the week before, so they’ve given us no reason to believe they have any idea how to slow down tight ends. Reed will get plenty of looks, and has the upside to be one of Week 3’s best plays.

5. Tyler Eifert (Cincinnati) vs. Baltimore

Tyler Eifert has been the second most productive tight end to this point in the season, and there’s not really any reason to believe that his numbers will decline much. That being said, I expect A.J. Green to have a bigger role in the offense than he has so far, and that could mean a few less targets for Eifert.

Expect Eifert to be firmly in the starting bracket every week for the foreseeable future, even against a Ravens defense that hasn’t allowed a tight end to go over 15 yards receiving yet this season.
