4. Carson Palmer (Cardinals) vs San Francisco
Nobody had a bigger flip on defense than the 49ers from the first week to the second week. They made the Vikings look inept offensively, and then the Steelers stormed to an early lead. Because of so much transition, we’re likely to see the latter result more often. It won’t get any easier with a road trip to Arizona, where Palmer has been one of the best fantasy QBs. He’s thrown seven touchdowns to just one pick on the early season. If Roethlisberger can carve up this secondary, Palmer has a good chance to.
3. Andrew Luck (Colts) at Tennessee
It’s been an ugly start for Luck and being held to 250 or less yards in each game won’t net many points. Even worse, his downfield throwing has been inaccurate. Luckily for him, the division schedule is up next to get him back on track. If Luck continues to stumble against the Titans, Jaguars, and Texans in the upcoming weeks, it’s probably time to jump ship.
