The Detroit Lions are sitting at an ugly 0-3 record after dropping last week’s game against the Denver Broncos voracious pass rush, and the tough part of their schedule continues with back-to-back games against NFC West giants before they finally get a reprieve in Week 6 against the lowly Chicago Bears (though Jay Cutler will be back by then).

This week’s game against the Seattle Seahawks will surely test the Lions, and it might take something close to a miracle for them to upend the ‘Hawks defense, which is back on top form now that Kam Chancellor has returned following his holdout. We’ve seen Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson pull miracles before, but they aren’t the only players who will have to come up big in Week 4 if the Lions want to avoid going 0-4 to start the season.

Let’s take a look at five players on this team who need to step it up against the Seahawks on Monday night, and especially close attention will be paid to an offense that has been a massive disappointment to this point.
