“Tyrod Taylor is Rex Ryan’s Best Starter”

Tyrod Taylor is no Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady, but he’s also not Geno Smith or Mark Sanchez. Taylor wasn’t an early round pick and he earned the starting spot the old fashioned way. He started as a back up and outworked and beat the guys ahead of him to earn the starting job. Ryan hasn’t exactly had the best and most talented quarterbacks to work with, but its very possible that Taylor could end up being his best one yet.

Taylor isn’t blowing games or running into any of his linemen’s asses. He’s not being punched in the jaw by teammates and he’s not starting because he was taken early in the draft. As the season goes on things will only get harder for Taylor as defenses will have more film on him. So far things look almost easy for him.

If he continues to play at his current level he may end up being the Bills starter beyond this season. He has the 4th best completion percentage, he’s 3rd in yards per attempt, 5th in quarterback rating and he’s 2-1.  He was the best option to start in Buffalo and he could end up being the best quarterback Ryan has coached so far.
