“The Saints and Sean Payton Need to Part Ways.”
Here’s the honest truth about the Saints and Sean Payton. Their run is over and both parties need to reset and start fresh. The Saints are currently 1-3 and are most likely not going to get into the playoffs for the second year in a row. Guys who made the team great are no longer playing at a high level or they are playing on other NFL rosters. They’re 0-2 in the division and barely beat a Cowboys team that is missing Tony Romo, Dez Bryant and stared Brandon Weeden.
Payton has the ability to lead a team to success when things are in order with a team’s salary cap and drafting. Lately the Saints have been forced to make trades and cut players to stay below the cap. They are no longer fielding their best teams. You can’t be going after a title and get rid of your X Factors like Darren Sproles, Jimmy Graham and even a guy like Reggie Bush. The Saints may never be the same after Bounty Gate it’s time for them to start over. Parting ways with some veterans and coaches may be the best bet for now in New Orleans.
