“Calvin Johnson Had a Rough Monday Night”
Everyone will be talking about this play for the next few days. Calvin Johnson had the ball punched out of his hands just a few inches away from scoring the game winning touchdown. That play was big for many reasons. It was an 8 point swing for Johnson who ended the night with seven catches for 56 yards. That touchdown would have given Johnson six points, but the fumble ended up costing him two points in most leagues. That could have changed the outcome for many players especially on Fanduel and Draftkings.
Johnson’s inability to get in the endzone has been frustrating for many fantasy football players and fans of the Detroit Lions. With only one touchdown in the first four games it’s no surprise that the Lions are struggling this year with Johnson’s early struggles. He’s still going to be a factor this year but after this weekend he may be having nightmares of Kam Chancellor for a long time.
