“Latavius Murray Had a Sunday to Forget”
Latavius Murray picked a bad time to have the worst game of his young NFL career. In a game that had the Raiders favored for the first time in 27 weeks, Murray had two costly turnovers and the Bears got away with a two point win in the final seconds. Murray was on the bench for the final Raiders drive in which they failed to convert a third and short with Roy Helu Jr in at running back.
Murray only had 49 yards on 16 carries. He also had a costly drop that bounced off his fingers into a defenders hands and later in the second half he fumbled a pitch that was recovered by the defense. This was by far Murray’s worst game as a professional as the 3.06 yards per carry was the lowest in his career when he carries the ball 10 or more times. Murray was coming off an impressive game against the Browns in which he ran for 139 yards and a touchdown. If you started Murray you’re probably disappointed.
