At this point last year we didn´t have any undefeated teams left, and now we have five. The least likely of them all, the Atlanta Falcons, also has the easiest remaining schedule and seem to be the best candidate to survive at the top the longest. That would mean that they could potentially be forcing the road to the Super Bowl in the NFC to go trough Atlanta.
There are also eleven 1-3 teams in the NFL, six of them who belong to the AFC, and just one winless team left in the league. It almost was twelve 1-3 teams and no winless ones, but the Detroit Lions have the worst karma in football.
Oh, and a head coach totally got fired one day after he said he wasn´t worried about his job security.
That means plenty of uncertainty and abundant mediocrity for now, starting with the bubble teams in the AFC doing just enough to get by and survive.
