1. Bengals have too many weapons on offense

The last time the Seattle Seahawks faced an offense as lethal as the Bengals was in week 2 against the Green Bay Packers. Now, I am not comparing Andy Dalton to the likes of Aaron Rodgers, but Dalton’s weapons on the outside are just as dangerous.

Not only that, but both Giovani Bernard and Jeremy Hill are threats to take it to the house every time they touch the ball. It is also worth noting that there is no offensive line playing better in the NFL then the Bengals. If the o-line continues to give Dalton ample time in the pocket, even a defense like the Seahawks will have trouble covering all of the Bengals pass catchers.

A.J. Green is currently4th in the NFL in receiving yards and Giovani Bernard is 6th in rushing. As a team, the Bengals lead the league in total yards averaging 422 per game. The scariest part is that quite possibly their best offensive weapon, Jeremy Hill, has not played like he did his rookie year. If he finds his footing and begins to dominate like last season, I’m not really sure how this offense will be stopped. Even without his production, the Bengals are 8th in the NFL in rushing yards per game.

With guys like Green, Marvin Jones, Mohamed Sanu, and Tyler Eifert on the outisde, the Seahawks are going to have trouble choosing who to focus on. If they stack the box to stop the run, that will leave single coverage on the outside guys. Even Richard Sherman, who has been beaten multiple times this season, will struggle to cover A.J. Green one-on-one. With all of that being said, the Seahawks defense looks completely different with Kam Chancellor back in the lineup. Although Seattle’s defense is still one of the best, I think the Bengals options on the offensive side of the ball will be too much to handle.
