Titans
The Bills visit the Titans in week five and that should be a game they win if they want to be considered a true playoff contender. The Bills defense has been impressive for the most part this year and they should have fun against Marcus Mariota and the Titans offense. Mariota has one of the better ratings in the NFL, but he’s not doing very well throwing the deep ball. The Bills can sit and wait on a lot of Mariota’s short throws and try to force pressure with the defensive front. A good mix of blitzes should help provide some turnovers for the Bills.
The Titans are currently 1-2 and are coming back from a bye week. They should be rested and well prepared for the Bills. Both Mariota and Tyrod Taylor are seeing some success in their first years as starting quarterbacks. The Bills have a much better overall team and most likely a better head coach. This should be a good opportunity for the Bills to get back on track. A 3-2 start with a 3-0 record against the AFC is a great way to stay on top of the playoff race.
