After destroying the New Orleans Saints last week, the Philadelphia Eagles hosted their NFC East rivals in the New York Giants on Monday Night Football. No matter how good or bad these two teams are on the season, the games are must-watch and is one of the best rivalry games in the NFL. Each meeting ends memorable no matter which team wins and it is remembered and enshrined as the next game is played.

Both teams came into the game playing for first place in the division. Overall, the division isn’t the strongest as it has been in the past and will most likely be up for grabs until the final regular season weekend of football. A win for both teams on Monday night would be a boost to their seasons. Beating a rival brings confidence until the next meeting of rivals. It’s a big win for who ever comes away with the victory. The losers use it as motivation for the next meeting later that season or the follow year.
