Can this monster finally get the love he has earned? Fletcher Cox is an absolute beast and is arguably the best defensive lineman in the NFL right now. Cox has rare athleticism for his size and manhandles blockers at the point of attack. When you have an All-Pro caliber player on your defensive line causing problems, it just makes things a lot easier for everyone else involved.
Cox had the best game of his career in week five against the Saints where he had three sacks, two forced fumbles, and q fumble recovery. He was a menace that day and he is always a menace on the field. If you want to understand how this Eagles defense has gotten so good, you should start with Cox.
Season stats: 22 total tackles, 5 sacks, 3 tackles for a loss, 3 forced fumbles, and 2 fumble recoveries.
