Steelers Will Win AFC North

The night of October 1st everyone, including myself, was ready to put a pitchfork on the Steelers season. Their first game after Ben Roethlisberger’s injury was not pretty as they lost to the 0-3 Ravens at home. The offense struggled and the defense couldn’t make up for the lack of offense. Missed opportunities late in the game sent the Steelers to a 2-2 record with two tough games ahead and with Big Ben out.

However, something happened over the last two weeks that not only kept the Steelers playoff hopes alive, but also kept their hopes for a division title and a first round bye alive. The Steelers found ways to win despite being without one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. Their best unit has yet to take the field together because of early suspensions and injuries, but they’ll soon be close to 100% as a team and the rest of the AFC isn’t ready for that.

This is why the Steelers will win the AFC North and a first round bye
