Why the Pittsburgh Steelers Will Win the AFC North and a 1st Round Bye
By Elias Trejo
The Steelers Have Weapons
Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell are some of the best at their position in the NFL today. Each player is more than capable of taking over a game and at times both can carry the Steelers to victory. With Vick under center you can see the differences in the offense, but when Bell and Brown get the ball special things happen. Brown’s production has really come down without Big Ben but that will change when he returns. Bell should also benefit greatly from the return of Roethlisberger. This offense will be scary and ready to go at the right time of the year.
However, the Steelers offense is much deeper than those three players. The Steelers have an exciting young receiver in Martavis Bryant who had a hell of a game against a tough Cardinals defense. They also have old reliable in Heath Miller who is always good for a couple of big catches per year and that was evident against the Chargers as he put the team in position to win. DeAngelo Williams and Darrius Heyward-Bey have shown the ability to make plays when their name is called.
This a team that’s built to win late in the season and has found ways to win early in the season despite not having their best playmakers on the field at the same time yet. With a match up against the Bengals in a couple of weeks that could be the perfect time to unleash this offense and send a message.
