Made It A Ball Game
The game started out slow with only three first quarter points between the two teams, then it was a blow out in the Jaguars’ favor, and somehow the Bills made it a game. At the half it was only a fourteen point deficit. EJ Manuel got his team in field goal range right before the half and made sure not to turn the ball over.
Because of this play before the half, the Bills were able to gain momentum heading into the locker room at the half. Rex Ryan had something to mention and could mention they were only 14 points down instead of 20-plus points at the break. The Bills’ confidence in themselves showed in the second half and this was only possible due to how the entire team played in the waning minutes of the second half.
This game ended closer than it should have had. Bills fans held on for hope and NFL and Yahoo executives were pleased it didn’t end in a blow out.
