This past Sunday’s victory in San Diego was a huge benchmark for the Oakland Raiders for many reasons. For one, it was a divisional road win against a team that Oakland has recently struggled to beat; Oakland won for just the 2nd time in the last 8 games against San Diego. Secondly, and more importantly, they won convincingly, as the score was not indicative of just how much the Raiders dominated the Chargers.

To take a 30+ point lead on the road against a division opponent takes a total team effort, and to be sure, the Oakland Raiders got exactly that. Contributions from the offense, defense and special teams were evident, and there was no doubt head coach Jack Del Rio got the total game effort from his squad he’s been looking for the last several weeks. Amongst the great team play, several players stood out and played exceptionally.
