Carr came into the game needing to show he could give a complete 4 quarter effort against the Chargers, not just the 1st half. That meant not just throwing for scores and continuing drives with accurate passes, but just as importantly not throwing costly interceptions that could give Philip Rivers and San Diego extra possessions.

Carr did just that, as he came out of the gate firing bullets down the field for big chunks of yardage and scores, but stayed away from turnovers as well. He did it in the 1st and 2nd half as well, as his 25 yard dime to Michael Crabtree in the 3rd quarter basically sealed the win. Carr kept the San Diego defense on its heels all day, and capitalized on both turnovers the Raider defense produced, driving for a touchdown and field goal.

Carr needs to visualize his performance this past Sunday when preparing for future games; his game play is exactly what is needed for Oakland to have a chance at making the playoffs.
