Saturday is December the 31st: Halloween. For some this means dressing up as superheroes, trick-or-treating, and eating a lot of candy. For many others though, Halloween is a time of ghosts, skeletons, ghouls, goblins, witches, and all manner of terrifying things.

NFL players have much more to worry about than these scary beings as most of them are in action for Week 8 of the NFL season this weekend. Hopefully we’ll see some fun and exciting Halloween costumes in the NFL world, but even more importantly we should see some fun and exciting football being played.
Saturday night will be a night of terror for many, but some NFL players have more to be scared about on the field than off of it. Some of the league’s top players have some scary matchups this week, and I hope for their sake they’re spending more time preparing for their games than they are picking out their Halloween costumes.
