Arizona Cardinals WR Michael Floyd

If you want a sleeper, then this one is for you. Arizona Cardinals second-year wideout John Brown has, unsurprisingly, blossomed into stardom status, and while he hasn’t shown it (he scored a TD against the Baltimore Ravens and had an impressive reception earlier in the game), he’s been dealing with a nagging hamstring injury. The Cardinals have a bye week coming up before Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns, but the Seattle Seahawks, Cincinnati Bengals, and their other two division rivals loom after the bye.

Brown is listed questionable, and because of the importance of the post-bye games, it might make more sense for the Cards to hold him out through the bye.

If that happens, then Michael Floyd immediately becomes fantasy-relevant against a Browns defense that has played poorly this season. The Cardinals offense is firing on all cylinders, and Floyd has managed to find himself a role in the offense again with back-to-back 50-yard, one-TD games. That’s solid production, and he could have himself a strong week if Brown is no longer part of the picture.
