Ryan Mallet

Ryan Mallet is probably sleeping right now, but let’s give the guy some credit. He’s most likely thrown more touchdown passes than you this year in the NFL. So the man loves his sleep? What man doesn’t? But let’s not take away his performance this year. First off the man was given a $1,000,000 roster bonus and has a $1.7 million dollar cap hit on the Texans salary cap.

Mallet did a lot more than just wake up late this year. He kept the Texans in the AFC South race as he delivered a third of the Texans wins this year. In that one win Mallet completed a season high 61.5% of his passes, however it wasn’t all fun and games. He also threw an interception and ran for a season low of -1 yards on 1 rush attempt. Not quite good enough to make the list and apparently not a morning person either, which is probably why Blaine Gabbert is still starting in the NFL and Mallet is not. Thanks again Jed York.
