Allen Robinson had a tough task on Sunday going up against one of the leagues best cornerbacks in Darrelle Revis. Robinson held his own catching 6 passes for 121 yards.

Mike DiRocco of ESPN.com says, “If there was any doubt that Robinson is one of the league’s top young receivers, what he did against Revis should wipe it out.

“He’s a hell of a player,” Robinson said to DiRocco. “I just tried to make plays. Playing against a guy like him, you’re not going to be able to get completely open every single time, but when the ball is in the air, I tried to put myself in position to make a play.”

Robinson’s numbers for the season include 40 catches for 707 yards and six touchdowns. He also ranks ahead of Allen Hurns and fifth in the NFL in yards per catch with 17.7. Robinson has shown a knack for being able to go up and get the ball. Robinson caught a 44 yard pass from Blake Bortles on 3rd and 8 from the team’s own 12 yard line despite being interfered and draped all over.

Robinson ranks eight in the NFL in receiving yards ahead of the likes of Megatron, AJ Green, and Rob Grownkowsi, and he is still only 22 years old.
