Allen Hurns

Allen Hurns caught another five balls for 122 yards and a touchdown on Sunday.

With that, Hurns has now caught a touchdown pass in six consecutive games. Coming into the season, not many predicted the second year wideout to put up the kind of numbers he has been. Hurns has 36 catches for 635 yards. Sure, Hurns exploded onto the scene last season as an undrafted rookie, but not many expected him to become one of the Jaguars most consistent, clutch performers.  Through eight games, Hurns is only 43 yards shy from breaking his receiving yards total from last season, and he had six touchdowns all of last season.

Oh…and he also ranks 6th in the league in yards per catch with 17.6. Not bad for a guy who went undrafted. With the jump that Hurns has made coming into his second season, he should continue to get better going forward. The trio of Bortles, Robinson, and Hurns should scare many defenses for years to come.
