Wide Receivers: B+

Statistical Leader: Brandon Marshall, 54 receptions, 730 yards, 5 touchdowns

Many “experts” thought that coming to the New York Jets would essentially be career suicide for Brandon Marshall. They were wrong. Marshall has been the best receiver the Jets have seen in 30 years, on a pace for over 1,500 yards and ten touchdowns. His arrival has been a huge influence on Eric Decker, who is having a great season, especially around the goal line. Decker is on a pace for 12 touchdowns to go along with just under 1,000 yards receiving.

No tight ends or other wide receivers have made any significant impact, keeping the grade low. Devin Smith, now healthy, has not been the speed threat down the field as of yet, with only six catches for 60 yards. If Marshall and Decker aren’t open, Ryan Fitzpatrick doesn’t have much else to choose from. Jeremy Kerley has come on of late with increased playing time, with 15 receptions and two touchdowns.
