Defensive Line: A
Statistical Leader: Muhammad Wilkerson, 32 tackles (20 solo), 5 sacks
As expected, the New York Jets’ defensive line has been the consistent leader on that side of the football. The Jets are leading the league in run defense, giving up 80 yards per game on the ground, and the “Sons of Anarchy” are a big part of the reason. Damon Harrison has been as stout as always in the middle, with 25 tackles of his own. Sheldon Richardson has played well in his return from suspension, posting 14 tackles and two sacks of his own.
The biggest surprise has been Leonard Williams. Everyone knew he was good, but there hasn’t been much of a learning curve from college to the pros either. Williams has posted 17 tackles (12 solo), and a sack of his very own.
You are in for a tough day when you go up against the New York Jets’ offensive line.
