Chris Ivory started the 2015 season with a vengeance, averaging well over 100 yards per game in his first four starts. The New York Jets were 4-1, and dominating on the ground. Chris Ivory was rapidly becoming one of the most underrated running backs in all of football. His attacking style combined with deceptive speed made Chris Ivory as tough to bring down as anyone.

The next three weeks went by, and Ivory became mortal, averaging 28 yards per game. All of a sudden, the Jets couldn’t get it done on the ground, and the talk of whether or not Ivory was hurt began. Last week, Ivory returned to form, running the ball 18 times for 99 yards. He was looking like his old self, running like he was mad at the grass.

Chris Ivory is simply too good for that not to continue, and he will have his best year in the league by far when the season is complete. With the offensive line improving, the New York Jets will reap the benefits as they fight for playoff positioning.
