The Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers will both be playing on Thursday Night Football for the second straight week after having different results on Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving went totally different for both teams, as the Lions were able to dismantle the Philadelphia Eagles at home. The Packers were also at home, but they struggled against the Chicago Bears, as there is clearly something wrong with the Packers’ offense. In the loss to the Bears, the once dominant Packers’ offense was only able to score 13 points.

The Lions and the Packers met just a few weeks ago, and the Lions were able to pull off the big upset in Green Bay by a score of 18-16. That win by the Lions has seemingly given them a lot of confidence, as they are now on a three-game winning streak heading into Thursday night.
Green Bay comes into Thursday Night Football in a serious funk, as they have lost 4 of their last 5 games, with their only win shockingly coming against the Minnesota Vikings.
The Packers have lost control of the NFC North to the Vikings with the recent skid, and now they really need to start playing better football with the playoffs right around the corner. With the Lions playing very well in the past three weeks, this has the making of a very good game.
