Eddie Lacy Gets Shut Down

It has been a very poor season for the most part for Packers’ running back Eddie Lacy, as injuries have played a big part in him struggling. In 2015, Lacy has totaled just 513 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns.

In the last two weeks, Lacy has been running the ball much better, as he totaled 100 rushing yards against the Vikings, and then 105 rushing yards against the Bears.

The Lions’ rushing defense has struggled for most of the season, but during the winning streak, the Lions have done a much better job at stopping the run. Lacy didn’t play in the first meeting between the two teams, and the Lions held his replacement James Starks to just 45 rushing yards.

The following week against the Raiders, the Lions would hold their talented running back Latavius Murray to just 28 rushing yards. The Lions continued their string of stopping running backs on Thanksgiving, as DeMarco Murray was held to just 30 rushing yards in the blowout.

With the recent string of good games from the Lions’ defense, Lacy could be in for a rough day trying to run the football.

Prediction: 55 rushing yards
